Discover Hydrus

SOLD

Hydrus is a 70ft converted historic narrowboat, built in 1935 by Harland and Wolff for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company as an unpowered butty.

In 2020, David Kemp converted Hydrus into a motorboat, adding a replica fully riveted motor stern and engine room. The back cabin, along with wooden cants and stern deck, was constructed by Paul Graves. Restoration photos are shown in the advert.

All work has been completed to a high standard, and the boat is currently awaiting a fit-out. The sale includes wood for the back cabin fit-out and the front hold gunwales.

Additionally, there is an available slot for the back cabin fit-out to be undertaken by Rex Wain of Brinklow Boat Services.

Click "Brochure" below and a pdf will open up with full details of this boat. (No sign-up is required, the pdf will open immediately).
