Rosie is a wonderfully original 50ft traditional narrowboat, built by Fernie in 1974 and owned by the same family from new. A genuine 1970s time capsule, she’s packed with period character and has certainly lived a life – travelling all of Britain’s navigable canals as well as waterways across Europe.

With a Ruston 2YWA at her heart, Rosie now needs some sympathetic updating and recommissioning, but her owners’ biggest wish is that she goes to someone who will love and cherish her as they have for over 50 years. A very special little boat looking for the next custodian of her story.
